A Tabbed Access Form with Subforms and Sub-Sub-Forms

To make data entry much more streamlined, you want to create forms with subforms, and often also sub-sub-forms. To make te form even more user-friendly, you may want to consider a form with several tabs for the various subforms.

This helped me realize that part of the "magic" is that the Order Detail Table is a Join Table with 2 foreign keys but no primary key.

Great video Dr. Gerard. You are showing queries with multiple tables in it for subforms. I don't think you are using that query as your control source, because if you did you won't be able to add or edit data. If you can make another video with focus on subform, sub-subform it will be appreciated.

I usually gather all (forms and subforms) in one form, then link them. For the main form with first subform i linke them using wizard, however, for the first and  the second subforms, i link them using unbound text box.
Again, i would ask you to show us some videos about how to make report for multiple forms as in such case. many thanks Dr

Dr. Verschuuren Hi from Chile !!. I would like to ask you something that seems easy to do but in practice is taken me a little bit more than I wanted. How would you select a record from a record list, to show on a separate form with all of its fields ?. I have tried a few things, but access is moody and it works partially or not at all. I would really appreciate your answer.

In the first form that you made, without the tabs, you have a subform for the department that does not have the outside bars and looks more like it is part of the main form. How do you do that?

Hi, @6.16 you can choose how to connect the sub forms. However, I do not get the field to choose, my sub form will be placed. Thus without the connection. What do I do wrong?

Тo create Orders Subform Query you put OrderID from Orders Table. Why aren't you putting OrderID from Order Detail Table? May I put OrderID from Order Detail Table instead of OrderID from Orders Table? By the way, great tutorial.
