Can a fully-loaded SCX24 trailer make it up a rugged mountain trail? Today I put my heavily modified Axial SCX24 Ford Bronco to the test-pulling a comp-built crawler through wild terrain… and the challenge only gets crazier from there.

Once we reach the top, I unload the beast and take on THREE brutal crawling runs-testing traction, torque, and trail skill on some seriously sketchy rock lines.

If you love mini RC trucks doing big things, this is your kind of video-scale realism, high-stakes crawling, and wild towing with tiny trucks!

Nicely done Sir. Excellent terrain for trailing' and crawlin' A few months ago I found a Klaas farm trailer with tipper body while clearing out some old toys. It looked a bit chunky for 24 scale but I removed the tipper body and cut slots in the chassis rails so the rear axles have vertical movement. front axle can drop a 3 mm, rear axle can rise 6mm, much better of rough terrain. Added a towball to modded FTX Outback 3 mini 1/24 scale Landrover and have enjoyed the challenge of hauling the open frame trailer around my back yard crawler course. The Landrover has a GOUPRC outrunner motor, ESC and gearbox combo.Really good slow crawl speeds and plenty of torque to drag the trailer with weights hidden under it to reduce bounce and improve handling. With throttle limit set at 25% on DumboRC radio it is perfect for crawling and trailing at nice steady walking speeds. On smooth pavement with throttle limit at 100% it was GPS clocked at 27.4 MPH ( 44.09 KPH ) which is completely nuts for a crawler. Looking at changing to 800-1000 Kv motor and the 2400 can go in something bigger. The most fun thing so far has been reversing trailer with some logs chained to it through gates on the crawler course. Rebuilding part of course with a few special trailer gates and more challenging routes. Home crawler course and trailin' in pine forest is fun but finding good crawlin challenges 'in the wild' with wonderful natural scenery just can't be beat. Your trailer looks well nice, all it needs now is operative suspension for improved performance and Your Trail 'n Crawl combo will be Minted !
