I have one question about the (a-b)^2, when 'a' negative number, for example (-4q-2)^2, then will the expansion for a^2 -2ab + b^2 be (4q)^2 - 2(4q)(2) + (2)^2 or (-4q)^2 -2(-4q)(2) + 2^2.(PS. I know the negative sign does not matter for a^2 as they will end up positive anyway I am only concerned about the 2ab part
