This reminds me of when I was a child, I always thought it was a magical song even though it was about dead cowboys.

He was a great singer. I loved his song on Rawhide.

Whilst I love both the Stan Jones original and the Burl Ives 1949 version.

Georgy Porgy I listen to this often and wonder at the resonance of Frankie's voice - you've done a fantastic job, it truly goes through me and I'm back as a young girl listening to this great man's voice on our good old 'wireless'. Great acoustics, never heard better on YouTube - Thank You for doing Frankie Laine proud.

My parents owned the album this song was on. They had a lot of great records but this song was one of my favorites.

As a clumsy 14 y.o., I accidentally broke the record one day. Not only was I extremely sad, I was in a LOT of trouble.

Wonderfull version of Ghost Riders, like Rawhide, what a voice. And Frankie Lane, kept that Lyric line in the Song "The Ghost Herd In The Sky" While most Singers have left it out. This lyric, line 8 is on Stan Jones Original Sheet Music. From the Book "The Life of Stan Jones" The Singing Ranger; from Amazon. Written Michael K. Ward, 1952. 😊😅
