The most popular and beautiful spot to watch the sunset in Santorini is by Oia Castle. You get the stunning view of the windmills and the whitewashed buildings perched on the edge of the caldera. If you want a good spot plan to get here early.
We stayed in Fira and hiked the mountains to Oia for nearly 4 hours. We were lucky to get a seat at one cafe over looking the caldera just in time for the sunset. It was such a rewarding hike and glad the kids weren’t with us in this hike. But one day will be back with them for sure. What a trip! 🙌
