Dominare is a fantastic game. Right up there in my top 10 games (hovering around 3 or 4) that's how much I love it! My gaming group also lauds it highly and we get it to the table as often as we can. Truly and underrated gem.

Every time the Kingdoms retheme with the Beowful movie theme comes up, I have to warn publishers about ugly covers. It has been on clearance sooo many times where I live (Nordic edition), because I think the printed too many copies of it and it mustn't have sold. I got it for like 6€ (from a store!) and never got it to the table, and when I did get it to the table no one was ever excited and the game usually stalled (there's like three rounds on different boards). Covers matter!

Pioneer Days is interesting. But it's made by a publisher that is no longer in business. Has it been picked up by anyone else??

Man I was so excited to get Pioneer Days but after 2 plays I was just bored. Very predictable, point-salady, actions felt stale very quickly. I really wanted to love it based on the theme and use of dice. Really surprised it's an 8.5.
