In other country river serve as a navigation routes for ships, barges, tug boats, passenger boats, etc. This transport bulk goods, oil, container cargo, log, etc. to the ports along the river. Example of this is Mississippi River, Parana River, Amazon River, Yangtze River, etc. This also helps build countries economy. For me Pasig River has its own importance when properly develop and used not only for tourism but also for the economy of the country. This also connects Manila Bay to Laguna de Bay which surrounded by the province of Laguna, Rizal, NCR(Muntinlupa, Taguig, Pasig) which can be a great commercial waterways in the Philippines.
