Innovations for the Software-Defined Vehicle

The key driver for the transformation of automotive industry is the shift to Software-Defined-Vehicles (SDV). In the past, development started from vehicle architecture to E/E architecture to SW architecture. With the advent of new technologies, requirements and innovations of today’s vehicles, that paradigm doesn’t apply anymore and we have to reverse this order. SDVs facilitate co-creation, design-led innovation, Minimal Viable Products and in consequence innovations at an unprecedented speed. In this presentation product and process innovations for SDVs will be discussed.
