Amazing stuff. I love that you show chord intervals in the note sheet, it makes everything much clearer.

I remember trying to have anything on jazz to practice when I was young 45 years ago. Put a LP of Parker on tape cassette with the rewind / play was the top to learn at the time. Guy like you sir in my time with guitar lesson like you give here for free will be rich and famous 40 years ago... People's have choices today, not in my times....great stuff sir !

I'm getting more out of your lessons than I did from theory classes in school. You are very good at breaking down theory aspects for direct use. Peace

Lots of guitarists play jazz, or try to. It can be a problem.
Since the 60’s, it’s been increasingly difficult to get the authentic feeling in the playing. Many nowadays, put in odd rock, country, or folk inflections. Some use that modern, slightly distorted sound. Some still utilise bends and wide vibrato. All these elements reduce the jazz content. I’m guilty of all of them, and will freely admit that after decades of trying, I have never achieved an authentic jazziness in my efforts.
It has a language and purity all of its own.
This guy has mastered the real feeling of the genre. Everything he does sounds natural and perfectly in context.
A magnificent player.
