Remember, sealed product has to be opened to populate the secondary singles market to begin with! And for the "why, " because the tin is a conglomerate reprint set. It's a value product for players to get cheaper reprints.

Mega Tins are pretty much a necessity in the TCG when the model of releasing cards is different from OCG cause other wise card prices would stay high unless you Konami releasing extra products that people probably wouldn’t purchase. You don’t have to like them but they have their place although I will say the 2019 Tins were some of the best since they had Dark Dragoon and Nibiru.

P.S. - Yugioh did try drafting via Battle Packs but it didn’t last long like with the Tag Duel format.

For me, I'm a hardcore board game player.
When I purchase a board game, I have very strict expectations.
Does it have a solitaire / solo play mode, does the game components are good quality, is the box has an insert? and things like that.
I do love TCG / LCG games, but to spend the same amount of money on a card box instead of purchasing a complete game what I can play alone or with friends just stops me to go there xD
I love watching others open card packs tho :D

Mega Tins would be a better product if they had less cards and were focused on a few archetypes. I think they should be treated similarly to Legendary Duelist.

I use to buy them, but I can't really afford sealed products anymore. It's more efficient to save and do your research to buy singles online. That way you take all the guess work out of the equation. Id rather Konami make draft products again. I do like the Precon Decks though.

I like the tins they reprint expensive cards and I really like the promos.

I buy 3 of the new tins every year just for the collection and I just buy play sets of the cards I want.

People have to buy alot of tins so that there are plenty of singles available for the rest of us.

I never open yugioh products but ill always buy the yearly tins. Just one or 2. Im very casual.

I haven’t bought a mega tin since Jinzo. I didn’t buy them because they are so widespread and random. But after what Redoctober said I’m less hateful on times. I don’t buy them though

I think one of the tins I got was card for card the same as the first one. I like your knife tho 🔪

I dont like these Tins either. We have all the Protagonists from the Anime on the Box... but we barely get any Cards related to these Characters in the Packs. This Set is full of Archetype specific Cards you cant even use if you dont play that Archetype. I know... not every Product must contain Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician Cards... but if the Anime Protagonists are printed on a Box, I assume I get some Anime related Cards together with their respective legacy support in these Packs.
