What I like in TOF is when there's a boss you can't defeat, you just shout it out in world chat, invite random players, summon them then the fun begins. that's what I like from TOF when I played it before I quit the game.

the one main thing that stuck to me about tower of fantasy over wuthering and genshin personally is being able to give the stats (weapon) to any character you want so you could always play with your favorite characters and however u wanted in that sense and ofc being able to customize your mc

Can't say ToF doesn't deserve all the crap you threw at it. It just makes me sigh over what it could have been if it hade been made with more competence and professionalism. But from what I understand ToF has ONE thing better than most gachas - A character creator.

Nah. Actually there was a boost of players to ToF in CN after the WuWa launch. ToF will be fine because it still offers something UNIQUE, while WuWa is Genshin 0.8.

And yes ToF pulled a lot of s**t at launch. But it's been two years... do we still need to dwell on past mistakes? Also ToF 1.0 was by an indie team of 30 people which perfectly explains its quality at launch. Then they became a 300 person team after launch success and the content rollout ever since reflects that.

I might be one of the few people who actually like tof despite all the bugs and stuff, as a side note i did play tof before even touching genshin. But i just like the idea of having multiple weapons with one character rather than multiple characters with different abilities, because I found it sort of tedious in genshin to build up all these different characters but at the same time it was probably way more fun than just pressing a few buttons to level up my weapons and making sure they had the right matrixes or whatever tf it is called and stuff. I also liked how tof was an open world multiplayer game, for me i feel like if a game is single player you shouldn't have to connect to the internet until you wanna play multiplayer. But i think wuthering waves will definitely be a tof killer

Tbh i think tower of fantasy did well for their first game ( I never even played the game even once )
people have to understand that making an action mmorpg and keeping game balanced is not easy job and for a company launching their first game while considering genshin's state as a completely dominant title they did good
now as they have gained experience they have improved a lot but it doesn't even matter if only they hadn't rushed the game
if they ever decide to make another game it would be worth it atleast in my opinion but that won't happen atleast in the near future

It's funny seeing this video now. Playing WuWa and being disappointed by it made me think back to ToF, pick it back up, and I've been having so much more fun with ToF.

I personally enjoy Tower of fantasy very much. But I'm crazy excited for wuthering waves tomorrow. I personally prefer games with one main character that you can customize and make your own that's one thing I really don't like about genshin you cant customize your character and unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to in wuthering waves but I didn't play the beta so I don't know

wow... stix still have a beat with tower of fantasy, my guess, is the collecting the ball problem.... hahaha.
oh well, i still play tower of fantasy anyway, is still the only open world have a weapon or characters that can flying around faster. [ wing glider does not count, that is more to a parachute glider just like genshin ]..
unless Wuthering Waves plan to have someone or item be a hover jet plane for traveling around in the sky, than i will accept, is the best game.

WuWa was right delaying their development 3 years ago when Kuro Games decided to announce the game around the same time as Genshin. All these while observing how Genshin fares and performs during the years and slowly catering to the current trend.
