If there is going to be 100% death tax, then I am not working hard to grow my wealth at all, earn what I want to and then die. I am NOT giving my hard earned money to the government even if I have to struggle sometimes in my lifetime.

Investing everything I have into my kids and family, heck even give it to charity but I am NOT giving it to the government. I am sure I am not alone in this sentiment.
