I erroneously bought the Icom Heil headset, the Elite Pro Set 6. Unfortunately, the mic, which comes as a electret cartridge mounted inside the boom doesn't work. I don't get it to work modulating the FTDX10. I was looking for info about it. As the told to me, the electret mic for Icom, doesn't work, despite the fact I have the proper Yaesu adapter. The vendor also told me that there's no way to get a spare replacement dynamic cartridge. Is there a way to get it to work, despite this warning I received from the seller?. Should I send a message to Heil, in order to ask them for a spare dynamic capsule, if still possible... or I only would expect to finally sell the headset to my local ham market and resign any mod?. 73 de CX3BZ.

Do I understand correctly that the Jack sockets are mono? and you plug in stereo headphones normally and everything plays in both sides? I just want to do something like this for the Yaesu FT-710. Thank you for the delivery

Well, for example in a Yaesu FT817 if you use an electret type microphone it doesn't work, it must be a dynamic type, for this purpose a module is required that adapts the electret microphone to the dynamic microphone input of the Yaesu.
