Deportation sweep in Metro Detroit targets Iraqi nationals with criminal convictions

An unknown number of immigrants, mostly Iraqi nationals from the Christian Chaldean community, were detained during a mass sweep the morning of June 11, 2017. ICE officials say the sweep was conducted after an agreement with Iraq officials to accept U.S. deportees.

What is so sad is he was here for all those years and now has to go back. Seems to me he has many times that he could have made different choices.
