What a legend. He actually answered me on a comment on insta and we joked around about him doing Unplugged from the balcony (again) like we're old mates.

Yes the man has bit of a big mouth and quite an attitude but at the end of the day he is among the greatest frontmen of all time and his heart is in the right place.

A few years ago Liam visited the states—Washington, DC for the AS YOU WERE tour. Best concert I ever went to and I remember 2 highlights:

1. Liam joking President Trump saying he’s a little fruity, weird. “Only Liam ladies and gents 😂”

2. I caught his attention. He faked me out, pretending he was going to hand me his maracas. Instead he tossed them to a guy in the balcony. “Sorry mate. As you were” xD

I was looking up Oasis for the first time in a while and I was shocked to discover that Liam had a lot of quite recent solo output. His voice sounds smooth and powerful despite him still doing his idiosyncratic microphone posture. Good stuff.
