We've come to know that when petrolheads set about modifying their cars on the inside, they pursue a certain look on the outside. Usually this involves a spoiler, perhaps a front splitter, maybe a wrap and some new wheels.

This Datsun represents what must be the most unique treatment we've ever come across, mostly because it just looks like an ageing farm bakkie (pick-up).

But hiding under that weathered bonnet is a beast of a Nissan motor, turbocharged and beautifully built to send a devastating whallop of power to the rears.

And that beer keg on the back? That's the fuel tank.
