How To Fix The ArmourySwAgent 'Do You Want To Allow Changes?' Message

If you have an Asus motherboard, you will probably have the Armoury Crate (or Armory Crate) software on your PC. Unfortunately it's a fairly buggy bit of software, and any non-admin users will keep getting an annoying UAC pop-up every time they login:

Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

I also had to do the same for Framework Service, because ArmourySwAgent came back to me after few reboots, i hope it helps if anyone has the same issue.

Video is more than 1 year old and Asus has still not fixed this annoying bug. Thats a shame.

Use Task Scheduler from the Admin account, that you are going to have it run from.
This still does not allow Users to access the program themselves, but it's a big help just removing the popups.

Wow! It works! Only an addition: I had a user account on laptop where I wanted to get rid of this bug and before I was able to make it I had to change type of my account to "administrator". And for it I had to use "control panel", then restart, and I had no ability to make it from "settings"

Hi, thanks for the video! This has helped with one of the pop-ups (AmrourySocketServer), but the "ArmourySwAgent" still pops up on the secondary users account on start-up. Can you help please?

Hi, thanks for this video! I'm struggling with a strange issue that occurs when I push on my Armoury Crate button: the software does not open ( I can open normally searching it on the windows bar). It's not an hardware problem: if I use my administrator profile, the button functions correctly...I have tried lots of possible solutions ( I've also uninstalled Armoury Crate) but nothing is changed. Can u help me?

a solution for ArmourySwAgent is to add it as a task in the task scheduler
