Crank is one of the best incremental games I 100% recommend it. It's takes a while to complete and has a deep story

I would add that my favourite subgenre is what I'm going to dub the scrolling idler. So imagine Streets of Rage, but your character auto fights and scrolls through the levels, and all you do is level him up and spend his cash etc. Stuff like that makes it fun to watch as well as play.

It's interesting how nobody talks about tossing games, they are very incremental at their core.
Burrito Bison is a perfect example with prestige mechanics and prestige mechanics beyond the previous ones.

AdCap wasn't the first incremental game to use progress bars, I believe that award goes to "Progress Quest", which was released (and popular) over ten years prior to AdCap.

Honestly, I kinda want to make one of these. I just love this genre so much. And I think that I can make a game that is a combo of Cookie clicker genre, Polynomial, and galaxia.

War Clicks is a great substitute to Adventure Capitalist… With its own mathematics and connection with the other world of War Zone it seems that they have caught something unique in this genre! I’ve been playing it for months now!

Woah you made Antimatter Dimensions? I used to play that game almost every single day, I got so addicted I even downloaded it on my ex's phone and then she got addicted for a short while. It was also a great game I played during my classes in high school (Idle games got me through high school, no lying there.)
