The engine actually is not mounted directly up front where you would think it to be. The engine starts almost at the bottom of the windshield, which makes it more of a mid-engine car than a front-engine.

Beautiful piece of machinery. I was really impressed, when I saw it on Top Gear USA. It just destroyed all obstacles. But does it perform well on road? good handling? driver comfort?

nope youre wrong it has an aluminum v8 with pushrods so waaay less weigh than most i4 and it has 4 times the torque so ou can go over anything

you smokin crack ? A dressed LS7 weighs about 500 lbs, A typical high performance i4 weighs under 200 lbs. LS7 output 505hp, 475ftlbs tq vs about 250hp and 235 ft lbs tq. So the power to weight ratio is about the same. I'm not bashing the LS7 in any way, Its a bad ass engine. Your math is just way off.

they should have used a lighter engine. V8 is too heavy for any jumping. Turbocharged 4 would be 200-300lbs lighter. Its like a fat lady sitting on the hood all the time, difference.
