My grandpa is just insanely introverted and quiet, but has had one hell of a life that he sometimes casually mentions assuming we already know. My favourite lore I’ve unlocked so far are:«we saw them (the Beatles) preforming in our gymnasium at uni. Their hair looked stupid», «yes I lived in Japan for a few months for work, everyone at the bathhouse would stare at me because I was so tall» «just like that case of unused grenades I found as a boy, that could have ended badly». Then he usually just leaves and falls asleep somewhere and we’d have to nag our parents for the full story. He also doesn’t ever say I love you or initiate a hug, even when we were little. He’d just find a book about something he knew you like from his collection, give it to you and leave. Can’t wait to see him at Christmas😂❤

I miss my boyfriends grandpa, and his shenanigans. He used to always do this to me. He was so handsome even in his 90s, and I see where my bf gets his looks. He was also a huge prankster 😭 passed away last year. This is true for all grandpas including my own
