I’m deleting this god forsaken app. I got about 20 matches total and literally only one messaged me and said “Hey you” I replied “hey how’s its going” and that was it. Lmfao

The main feature I don’t like is if you match with a guy you like and send him a message. It’s 24 hours and that’s it, no extension no rematching nothing it makes having premium almost pointless

I've been married 27 years. I met my wife volunteering at a local 5K race. We were both on a dating app for 5 years and never saw each other on the app. Why am I saying this? Because the best way to meet people is to go out and DO things. Not just bars, either. That's no good. Get our volunteer or join and organization. Dating apps are notoriously lousy for people getting a long-term relationship.

Bumble is great, I put up a picture of giga Chad, made him a wealth doctor. Just left the profile up, never responded to anyone except with one word replies that trickle down to nothing.

One question I have is whether women can see compliments on Bumble. Since I know most women are hesitant to make the first "move" (though in real life if you include non-verbal signals, they often do make the first advance), I started sending compliments to women in Bumble, since they let me express interest through words. I'm surprised you said the only way a guy can express interest is through swiping. I'm really not against women making the first move, since it could stop guys from sending disrespectful messages, it's just that women rarely ever do make the first move on dating apps. Do women only see compliments if they're paying for Premium? I watched this video because I am trying to understand how I as a male am perceived by women on dating apps.

When I was living in myrtle beach I used bumble a little bit.
One particular woman stood out to me the way everything happened with us.
She was the one that had shown initial interest and she was an intelligent and very attractive woman.
We had all the same hobbies, taste in music, clothes, etc.
Only problem never found myself investing major interest in her.
When I noticed I wasn't developing an interests outside of a conversational acquaintance, I back off talking to her.
When she noticed that I backed off speaking to her, she wanted a very thorough explanation why we haven't went further.
In her mind, there was no reason why I wouldn't want to move forward.

In my experience with Bumble, women really don't know to handle themselves when a guy isn't interested.

I don't think this works for women though because men have told me they swipe right on everyone to increase their chances. So when i message a guy, theres a big chance i get no response because i wasn't his type in first place! So i don't think this helps. Or they reply really uninterested and just answer and not ask anything back like they are just bored. I wish Bumble just decided to be a proper dating app rather than for people looking for hook ups.
