SPERZEL Trim - Lok LEFT to RIGHT CONVERSION

Here's something I've learned from my mentor and I wanted to share with you.
It's a really cool design idea from the guys at SPERZEL!

That looks very simple. I have a similar set (same colour even) but after I get the stem to come out one side it won't go back in the other side. Is there any trick to that? It will easily go back in the same side.
