when i went to Ghana i saw people in the market playing this. Each region had slightly different rules that you could learn. The market players were super fast, they had a technique where they throw 4 or 5 seeds at once and they all land in the right pits.

The village kids will also dig pits in the ground to play this amongst themselves.

Great coverage, we will be interested to know if you plan to follow up on Oware in future, or if you would like to cover Oware competitions we will organise in future.

A bit different than the rules I got in my "Mancala" game. The rules I got involved seeding your "mancala" pits which score for you. In this game, no Mancala pits. And captures work very different in this game, where it looks like you capture when you seed last pit to a certain number, I think 2 or 3.
