A new teaser clip was just dropped for Fontaine provided by the Version 3.8 Special Program English Livestream titled "Secret Summer Paradise" Bottleland Legends. In this short but interesting teaser, we get to see some more Fontaine sceneries such as their terrains and city buildings that are of new designs with a new little pink-haired cat girl and the Traveler swimming underwater. We can't wait to meet the Hydro Archon in Version 4.0!

They're upgrading the new region teasers. In inazuma we had a concept art, in sumeru we had a little montage of the areas. Now we literally have a showcase of fontaine areas and its features. Maybe in 5.8 we'll get a whole program showcasing snezhnaya 😂

I imagined that Fontaine will be a technologically advanced nation, but I imagined that it would have steampunk vibe to it.
I never thought that it would be like Altissia from FFXV, although it makes a lot of sense since Altissia is also like... 85% water, lmao

Few things to note here:

> Similarly to how sumeru was teased, this is probably the first part of the map. Just like how in Sumeru's teaser we didn't get the desert region yet
> Underwater gameplay, might be fontaine exclusive as if you squint your eyes little bit. There seems to be one of those flying companion things almost as if it's a gameplay mechanic just like the ones in Inazuma and Sumeru. Unsure whether there's a drowning mechanic in this type of gameplay. Might be replaced by having enemies fight us(?)
> This upstanding (or outstanding) "Mellisine" (or whatever it's called hard to make out with the voice acting) is this little small furry police patrol officer. She seems to look like a rat but Idk I'm blind cant make it out. Her outfit resembles a little bit of the British Patrol outfit, despite the region being France/French designed. They might have changed it last minute to be British looking(?). This Patrol Officer doesn't seem to have a vision as you can confirm this in the boat scene that there are 2 of him/her, this could indicate that there are multiple versions/varieties of her out there. She's either a mechanical puppet or a highly bred species.
> As obvious as it is, the city seems to rely on mechanics like how sumeru is relied on the akasha. In the first part of this teaser you can see a mechanical robot NPC walking around and a Signboard on one of the buildings showing a robot maid/hairdresser.
> Region location. In my opinion it doesn't seem like it's located above or below Sumeru. From the formation of the mountains and how the place looks at 0:50 it seems to be more relatively close to Mondstadt or Liyue. Just my opinion since the formation of the mountains are very different from sumeru's.
