Am I the only person interested in Wendel's "stories for another time"?

I can't help but laugh in ASRock's face (or any company really) at the notion of a "gaming" branded networking device.... of which why are you reviewing this Wendel? I'd quite like some more PFsense videos and you guys even said you'd probably go over some other topics and then never did anything, so that's a little disappointing.

Yeah.... he isn't even joking

I like how the UI frame is a composite of random parts from the LaFerarri

Looks interesting, I wonder if it's compatible with my gaming Ethernet cables though...

I'd like to see more router videos. Some advanced stuff. And everything else u hinted in the video. A video on wireless optimization would be highly appreciated. And some affordable consumer grade wifi stuff testing. Thank you wendell.

In my experience with Cisco consumer routers, they work fine for ~4 months, sometimes up to a year, then they need to be restarted at least once every 2 days, so I usually set them to restart at 3 AM when no one is on the internet.

Although help text on multiple occasions would be nice, generally one would think that if you dont know what certain things are you would look them up, and if not the general user would most likely get scared off if they dont know what they are doing

More than just the hardware review, I really appreciated the explanation and education on networking/internet basics. :)

The router and GUI look absolutely hideous, I guess it's a good thing you usually hide it and don't often have to go into the setings.

Only 4 ethernet ports on a router that costs $329 at newegg Canada right now. I get that people use wireless these days and I get you can get a switch but in a house where someone already has enough wired stuff running all over the place maybe they don't want to be using a switch. At $329 I expect more than 4 ethernet ports and I don't know when it was that 4 became a standard but hopefully it ends.

Now as for other stuff shared in the video I do use some of the extra features in regards to port forwarding but man I wish I understood more about routers and any video you can do that will teach me more Wendell is greatly appreciated.

If possible, it would be nice to have a link to the device your video is on. Thanks for the thorough router overviews!

It has a redesigned older Belkin interface :P Not sure if anyone noticed that. So is this a Belkin router inside? As well as another hint is the "Self-Healing" thing too, Only seen that on Belkin routers as well. So is this a Belkin in disguise? lol

yes we would like to see the HD streaming capabilities of the router

A gaming router? Really? Isn't a good router just a good router? It shouldn't matter what it's used for.

Wow that a pretty cool price of hardware... I just have a Linksys AC1900

Gaming Boost not only supports on-line games but also HD vedio like Netflix and Youtube

This doesn't relate to the product in the video BUT when talking about Australian internet connections... The smile/grin that follows... People need that grin on a shirt

Also I agree with +vgamesx1 that more PFsense videos would be appreciated.

Please do a video on the media server stuff, I really want to learn all this Networking/Router stuff and Wendell is the only person that I can understand wtf he is talking about. I recently bought a Asus RT-AC87 and that one has a 2 dual CPUs (one solely to handle 5GHz band 4x4 MIMO) so I'm interested how a single dual CPU can handle all this stuff and the two on the Asus router are overkill?. Excellent review as always.

A comparison of Plex and Kodi router - server options for best "sweet spot" would be great. I setup a pentium G3258 for PLEX server with my ASUS router but fully vetting all the current choices would be valuable. Thanks
