When you listen to “Dear Prudence” it is so easy to get swept away by the awesome lyrics and vocals that you forget how much of a masterpiece this track is instrumentally.

From 2:57 to the end of the song, words cannot describe how perfectly and harmoniously this song was crafted. The Beatles truly were and I mean “TRULY” geniuses and the best band to ever exist.

You just proved again that every single member of the Beatles and every instrument is worth studying and learning- whether guitar, bass, piano, drums, vocals ... it will improve your skills as a musician massively

Incredible. There will never be a band like the Beatles again.A hundred years from now if humanity still exist people will be listening to and dissecting their music.

When you hear songs like this without the lyrics you really get to hear the instruments properly and appreciate how good they really are.

George’s guitar licks in this song are one of the most memorable and lovable.

The regal Authority of a Rickenbacker Bass continues to bring tears to my eyes.

Love that bass line of Paul. Another good bass line is Lovely Rita. Paul is an under rated bass player.

This is the most amazing piece of music rock ever produced. Notably it stands on its own without any singing.

One of many beautiful masterpieces by genius John Lennon. So poetic with great instrumental back up. Bass is so ingenious.

Nice removing the tea towel to catch the way the snare sound changes during the flourish at the end

Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, open up your eyes
Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies
The wind is low, the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence, won't you open up your eyes?
Look around, round (round, round, round)
(Round, round, round, round, round)
Look around, round, round (round, round)
(Round, round, round, round, round)
Look around
Dear Prudence, let me see you smile
Dear Prudence, like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence, won't you let me see you smile?
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play?

This is a 3 man effort. No way one man can create this music on his own. I wonder who had the most input as John was always open to ideas. What a gem!

I thought Paul played the Jazz on this and that the Rick's bridge pickup was petered out about this time.

Also, Neil, I'm pretty sure on the bridge Paul dove down to F1 and played that passage down there.
Your work remains lovely all the same.

How did McCartney came up with that magical bass notes for this song. Because he is a genius just like the Beatles.

this is so good I'm willing to overlook the fact that the bassist uses a pick and leave a like

The cloth removal at 3:00 was a nice touch because the sound of the drums (or at least the snare) does change in the original recording.
