What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. What are your biggest Jailbreak hot takes?

what i dislike about the robbery system is that because every robbery in the group has to be finished before continuing the cycle it leads to long periods of time of waiting for people to finish robbing

the reason why the robbery system sucks is because of how terrible the grouping is. one of the robbery groups includes powerplant, cargo plane and passenger train. if you choose to rob powerplant first, youll miss the plane, while if you rob plane first, another player will rob powerplant in the meantime leaving no opportunity for you to rob it. there are also other issues such as having one of the groups only include robberies on the crater city side of the map, making all players (+cops) concentrate in the same side of the map.

my solution? make the robberies in a group random each time instead of being predefined.

14:40 I actually use the ray quite often after a cargo plane/oil rig robbery, just to get to the garage tho. it serves a purpose though and I appreciate it.

Hot take: I think the premium garage shouldn’t be a gamepass and that it should just be a regular thing in the game. (This is coming from someone with the gamepass)

I hate that the lvl4 bases are so forgotten. While cop one can be sometimes used for getting weapons(because you dont need a key to get here) and getting the escapebot, volcano and military are completely useless. Only good thing u can get from there is an escapebot. The problem with they is (excluding the cop one) that they are in different bases. Lets look on the volcano one - why would you go there? You got 2 weapons and lambo which you can take even faster from the normal base. My suggestion? Make a garage and armory in these bases and make them far from different ones(e.g the volcano one in the crater city, it would be useful there).

ultimate hot take: a lot of jailbreak updates suck. now no offense to the dev team, they do a great job, but many things that they add make no sense for a prison game. i understand them adding cars and textures, but at the same time, they add them nearly every single update, and most content on jailbreak i see is just about cars, so u would really think it is a car game, when it was intended to be a prison game.

hot take before i break down the ult one: i loved the oil rig, i think it is completely overhated and many ppl r hating on it for being "too hard" but i disagree, i think it is perfectly fine as it is, it forces us to use the forgotten boats, it gives us decent pay, u have to fight NPCs, it is fun and doesnt really ever get boring

1 more hot take before we get to the main topic: more limited cars is a good thing for the game. feel however u want abt the limited cars (i personally like them) but before they added the new scorpion, the game had around 25k players on avg, but now it has around 35k players on avg, i even saw it having around 40k numbers dont lie.


hot take 1: robberies r way too ez. yeah say this is bad all u want, but most bank floors r boring and too simply made, like the basement and the mint, where u jump over some lasers, i feel like they should either add a lot more harder floors or just revamp the ones that they have, since u can complete them too quickly and too easily. same goes for robberies like the museum. the casino is well made too, but i still think it should be a bit harder to rob though.


hot take 2: remember how i said the game doesnt really feel like a prison game anymore? as i said in robbery 1, robberies should get more attention, and i think they should add more robberies more often, i understand we have this whole new robbery system, but if they add more robberies to groups, they can just increase the time u need for the robberies. there r many concepts like for example a yacht robbery, a car dealership robbery, a gold storage, a mine, etc.. theres a lot they can do.

hot take 3: this is gonna be my most controversial one and i completely understand why u would disagree with this, but they should add different characters with different abilities. now ik what yall r thinking, superheroes? not really. these characters would give u different boosts depending on what team ur playing on, like for example a concept for a character that can give u 10% more money on a robbery, a character with their own weapon, a character with their own car (that u can only drive if ur playing as that character), etc.. and this could be also good for seasons since some of us r tired of just cars. the way u would obtain them is by buying and doing quests (which i wont really explain but i can if u want me to).

I know a lot of people hate how the game has slipped away from its original values of being a simple cops+robbers game, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think the game has progressed very naturally and well throughout the years and the fact that a 7 year old game still gets the amount of players that Jailbreak does is an achievement worth noting. I don’t think that the whole culture of car collecting and trading is unhealthy, I personally am a big fan of the car collecting subculture within the game and think it’s a great idea to keep people hooked on the game if they have a collection to be proud of. I personally don’t trade but I think trading is a good way to add depth to the game in the form of values etc. and add a little bit of extra balance and challenge.

I do kind of agree with the one that said limiters are bad. I got a p1, did a trade that I thought was a steal, but some just said “why trade og p1?” And now I am sad every time I think of a p1 ( it is my favorite car) but I think limiters should not be removed

what i dislike about jailbreak is the bots that spam in the chat about some random websites and police cheaters that randomly teleport to you and arrest you it makes it hard to play

Cop team needs a (reward) buff.


Do I necessarily have to play on criminal team to grind hyperchromes? I was thinking it would be better if doing the bank truck, busting bank robberies, and arresting criminals with a bounty of 15, 000 or high should allow you to do a roll for hyperchromes.

About the robbery cycles...

I think they were a good addition, but not well implemented. For example, having the Cargo Plane and Passenger Train opening with the Power Plant needs a rework since it's difficult to hit all three robberies.

I think that the two trains should switch spots. Double-robbing the Passenger Train and Cargo Ship will be a good strategy for this.

The Cargo Train pays out instantly and should be robbed first, then the plane and the Power Plant in that order.

Idk how much of a hot take this is, but I think the classic/og vehicles should get updated looks.

the way you level up is fine, but i personally don't like it that the only way to get ahead of other f2p level grinders is to pay, in the og season system, you can get ahead of people by actually playing the game more

a part 2 would be cool since i've got a LOT of hot takes that i feel like sharing

1. all of Critstyx's contributions to the game were all terrible and only harmed the game's future. trading caused a majority of future updates to shift toward the trading community as they value making profits more than improved gameplay. hyperchromes are a practical joke of a progression system as it's based on playing the robberies repeatedly for a slither of a chance to obtain one (in which the current robbery system doesn't help with at all). you're essentially gambling your time away. the CEO is one of the worst boss fights I've ever had the displeasure of enduring in a video game. and Crew Battles just suck. I don't think that's a bold claim, they're just really bad. it was honestly a relief seeing Badimo let them go.

2. (probably a very cold opinion) the Jailbreak "lore" is laughable. I see a lot of people make it out to be great, but it's quite literally nothing. the CEO is barely even a character, and there is no theme or message to take away from anything seen. It really doesn't warrant all the theories and fan art that makes it seem like something cool.

3. For all those reasons, I believe the 2022 Winter Update is the worst update the game has ever received, period. it was a bunch of build-up towards a horridly designed boss fight where you fight a cardboard cutout. when I first played it, I felt nothing. it made me quit the game. (also i will never forgive them for making darkest purple paint a reward for season 13, effectively squashing an opportunity for someones creation to be in the game which is an insult to community creators)

- it’s fast
- has a fast acceleration
- amazing breaks
- actually able to be purchased and you don’t have to trade for it
- decently cheap (compared to other cars)

I have some really good cars and I still use the successor.
