Helldivers 2 Friend Requests not working in Crossplay (PC & PS5)

Helldivers 2 players are currently experiencing an issue where Friend Requests are not working or not accepting on PS5 and PC.

I found a sort of work around with it. if you load into a match with your party on public you can get the other person to join your matchmaking then they will be on your ship without having to directly invite them, you gotta click on the white trapezoids on the mission select screen. i would recommend doing it on trivial difficulty as not many players do those missions allowing for easier matchmaking.

I’m honestly so sad because I finally bought the game to play with my bf and his friends only to learn about his issue :( hopefully it gets resolved soon and we can both fight for democracy together!

STILL NOT WORKING - 1 month in and still no fix. What a COOP game

Workaround: Both must be on the same planet at the same difficulty level. A player on the PlayStation looks up an operation and starts it. Then the PC player goes and searches for RND games at the same difficulty level and in the same system. After 6 search requests, my son and I were thrown into the same game. Of course, it's somewhat dependent on luck, and you have to leave the wrong games or kick players who don't belong in the game, but it took us less than 10 minutes. Good luck!

thx so much for uploading this video! I just had the exact same issue with my friend trying to match make for the lsst freakin' 3 hrs from me on my ps5 and him on the pc... I have also just reported a support ticket within the official Arrowhead's website... let's hope this issue is fixed ASAP! 😞
