Philippe Thomas is a renowned Jazz musician. After many years of performing and living in abroad, he returned to his home in Mauritius.
Today he shares his Jazz skills with people in his community. Though Jazz is a not popular genre in Mauritius, Thomas and his crew have not given up on promoting it.

Yes, interesting, as Peter Maguire mentions below, Philippe spent many years in Bruxelles before going to Berkeley (and not from France). He went with the drummer Seb De Krom after passing a (Berkeley) test in Italy - if I remember correctly.

Brave of him to go back, as Jazz tends to be, sadly, a minority art form, even in Europe, let alone Mauritius; nonetheless, i wish him well.
