I went to Iceland last year and I was listening to this song while walking along a cliff in Arnarstapi. I was alone, so I just went to sing the last part like a crazy guy. One of the best things I've done in life.

One of my favourite moments with my daughter. Just a baby and woke in the night, she was inconsolable for about 15 mins. When I eventually calmed her this song had just started quietly in the background and I just stood holding her and swaying, her asleep on my shoulder, me with a massive smile on my face. I still count it as my first dance with her.

One of my biggest fears in life is getting bored or growing a tolerance for this song and the deep spirtual effect it casts on me . I only listen to it like three or four times a year. only in the most special moments or the lonliest moments like now. This song literally means a lot to me .

Listening to this while in bed, reflecting on how beautiful life is.
The universe, so vast, yet it connects us in one way or another.
To whoever reading this, don’t overthink too much, everything is going to be ok :)
Nobody would probably see this but if you do, and felt the urge to like this comment because you understand and can relate, we are probably connected in some way .I know what i said might be random but i just shared what i was feeling and could see in my head which is nothing but beautiful and surreal.
Bye beautiful human reading this.
And i am glad to be alive to have listened to this beautiful music.

Sometimes I avoid Sigur Ros because they make me feel so much, then I remember it's good to feel. Emotion is what makes us human. I love this band and their music.

Now I’m listening to this alone, in the middle of a silent night, and I’m crying like a child, and have no idea why, but the only feeling I can sense in my inner self is a deep wish to live in a complete state of happiness with no end, I don’t know how, but I feel like I’ve got to the true highest state of love and I would love to share it with everyone in this world! I love you all!! I’m thankful to be able to experience this quite unique peculiar moment in my existence, I’m immeasurably thankful to be living it! Thanks! 🙏🏼

My favorite part is when it stops in the middle of the song so that YouTube can show me a commercial for an internet provider. Thanks YouTube, I’ve been wondering how I could get Internet services while I’m watching a video on the internet

This is the song that gives me back hope when everything seems worthless and dying all around me. Just thank you for existing Sigur Ros, you're beautiful.

I save this song to situations when I have a big anxiety attack because it’s the only thing that calms me down and help me fall asleep

So much kindness in each frame of this video. Kid playing on the backside, people hugging, mother with her son, people smiling, the dog... And of course beautiful views of nature... Feel more happy after watching this!

I've been a limousine driver in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area for over 20 years, in Minnesota. One night as I was listening to the local radio station and they played a full album of Sigur Ros. It was the most amazing, perfect and creative music I've ever heard! It feels like you're going to heaven when you listen to them! Bravo! ❤️

In August 2000 I was on the rebound from a messy time with some crazy people and was in retreat. I went walking alone just inside the Norwegian Arctic Circle and had hiked up a mountain to see a glacier for the first time ever. Bits of the glacier were collapsing into a lake that was tainted green from algae that had been freed from the melting ice and it looked otherworldly. At the end of the the long hike, I curled up in my sleeping bag in the grass, watching the the moon rise over the ice shelf. I plugged in my headphones and listened to some random Norwegian radio station, and listened to I didn't know what. I thought it was Radiohead on heroin at a jazz festival, some astonishing live music that just soundtracked where I was amazingly.I had never heard anything like it. After about an hour, some radio host rounded up the show and seemed to be asking the bands audience to show their appreciation for "Ziggy Roe" I think he said they were called. I scribbled the name on an scrap of envelope and when I got home to England two weeks later I showed it to a guy in an independant record store. "Ziggy Roe? Nope never heard of them!" then a light flashed in his mind. "Oh! Maybe it could be these guys! Did they sound like this?" And he put on Agaetis Byrjun which I of course then bought.
