Paying for treatment for existing conditions = National Health System. This is how it works in the UK. If I get sick, I get treatment for my 'existing' medical condition, paid for by public taxes. You guys will get there eventually...

USA is the richest country in the world, why don't the rich pay more premie for their healthcare, that is pay as you earn. If you are a millionaire you pay higher healthcare cost than a poor man who earns minimum salary, that is what all the other rich countries of the world do. Why don't America do that? Is it that the rich do not want to pay for the poor, or is it that the white don't want to pay for the black? Which is it? It comes down to the fact that Americans are very selfish & wicked. Why are the insurance companies making profit from sick people? That must stop. Pharmaceutical companies make profit from sick people that must stop too.

This lady is lying through her teeth, where were the Repugs when the ACA was started, they didn't offer any ideas then. Medicaid didn't help people before and they want it to go back to the old system. States had entry amounts of below $3500 a year earnings to qualify for medicaid. If you can limp to work you beat that amount then it was on families to shell out for their loved ones. The only reason that the ACA needs help is because they didn't go after the insurance companies. You hear about the insurance company losing $400 million over and over, but they don't tell you is it didn't lose money it just didn't make that much in profit.

Since we are so behind the curve when it comes to healthcare compared to most of the industrialized world why aren't we simply looking at the BEST healthcare systems in the world like Sweden and the U.K. and adopting the best parts of those extremely successful healthcare models? OH I REMEMBER! If we modeled the best healthcare systems in the world it would mean no more corruption and greed between big pharma, insurance companies and our politicians! Americans need to start fighting for the healthcare we deserve! Other countries have figured it out already...we are so behind!

how about we use those billions on wasteful military spending and use it towards healthcare. don't get me wrong I believe in a strong military. or use some of that other wasteful money spending
