What a tragic character. He is in the background, but he is probably the character with whom you can best empathize.

I didn't notice at the time, that when Viktor is at the dock, it's almost like he's reliving that scene in childhood. Where he couldn't catch the boat, but here we see that he's able to outpace all the boats, running faster than ever before. Quite a powerful cinematic moment.

As a crippled person who has been fortunate enough to be able to walk and run, against all odds, the scene where Victor as a child stumble, and or when Victor as an adult runs, are the most beautiful scenes in the series for me.

Viktor was so blinded by his fear of his own mortality, of not lasting long enough to see the fruits of his work, that in the process to rid himself of his disease he caused the death someone that deeply admired him. After Sky's death he almost considers ending his own life to prevent his fear from hurting more of his friends. Now that's character evolution, makes me wonder how much of his journey awaits him until he gets to how we know him in-game.

The scene where he running and crying in the bay is just so real. The things we chose to sacrifice for progress. Then he go back the lab, looking at the shimmer, to see his reflection, its now or never

I was waiting for Viktor to just become "oh I stab you in the back because I'm the shifty villain who hides in the shadows"
...I didn't realize how wrong and short-sighted I was until the scene where he's is able to run for the first time. The power of that moment showed me that this person wasn't in the shadows because it concealed his malevolent plots. This was a man who devoted himself to improve and solve the issues he saw. Only now at the end of the 1st season, he's realized that he is running out of time and his goal still hasn't been completed.
Sure Hex-tech was making waves in Piltover but the practical uses that would help the people of Zaun have yet to happen. He understands safety but that means he likely won't see the fruits of his labor. It's a very interesting and compelling conflict that I was not expecting and has catapulted Viktor to one of my favorite characters.

This series is like a dream. I can't believe such a masterpiece exists. Loved every episode. Every character made sense. What a remarkable story.

Love the fact as the series goes on, you can see physically that Viktor isn't doing too well. His health is getting the best of him

Viktor is great. He has no big dream like Jayce, he wasn't touched by something bigger than himself, he's simply an urchin cripple who wants to make the world a better place for people like him. In his simplicity, he's righteous and invokes righteousness in others. And yet his genius is cut short by the bane of his people: the poor living conditions of Zhaun, which probably gave him his disease. But in his despair he goes beyond safety and without Jayce by his side, his research kills a human like him. And yet he needs the monster he created to live and evolve his research to one day bring real change to Zhaun.

i legit think that Viktor is some soft of manipulative character because u know, the game lore and stuff

The level of how well Viktor's character -and the series of a whole, is written is off the charts. Fortiche really set the bar for animation with this one and both they and the writers deserve all the praise they are getting

His light may have been that of background or secondary character, but he still shined as Bright if not brighter then those around him
