Orange P7 - my long term review
Almost a year ago now, I bought an Orange P7. Since buying it, I have ridden it in all conditions in a number of locations and terrains, and have gained a fair bit of experience of how it rides, what's great about it, what's not so great, etc.

I don't usually do reviews of stuff. Well, not serious stuff and not in a serious way. However, a few people asked me for my opinion after owning and riding the P7 for some time so I had a go.

It goes without saying that I am not affiliated in any way to Orange and am therefore my opinion isn't biased; it's also MY opinion and others' may differ. Go you if that's the case 😂

Anyway, here we go, my first 'serious' review. Not about to start doing it on other bikes, unless I have owned them for some time. Not sure anyone would want a review of a 2018 Orange Alpine where almost every component other than the frame has changed though; be kind of pointless really. I do bloody love it though.

@ElectricMountainBiker - it's all his fault 😃

I’m in the US and I think I’ve commented on your buddy’s channel, with returned comments, about me having a 2016 p7 rs. Just got Hayes dominion brakes put on. Not much luck with finding replacement decals/orange chain stay protector and the like here in the States. The drawback with owning a UK bike in the land of Kona’s and Santa Cruz’s by really having a blast on it nonetheless. Cheers.

For me I think what this video captures amazingly well is just how fantastic late summer evening rides are. I know it's about the bike but im so dustracted by the atmosphere, lighting and scenes. This video should convince anyone of the joys of mountain biking...unless they've no soul. The bike is lovely btw, but you didn't need me to tell you that 😂 A great deal of effort involved in this video and its come out a proper winner. Nice one mate!

Still one of the best days ever us two at OGL on the hardtails. Sorry for helping with the seed sowing 🙈 Totally worth it though!
But then... You convinced me on the HT, amd then the Blue Pig arrived. Think we are equal now, and both proper chuffed with our hardtails 🤩

Great video this, really well put together, have to say audio was spot on 😉👍🏻

First thing I noticed about my Scout after I'd built it was how capable a modern HT is...first ride on it was Easty! Probably my favourite bike too.

I have been considering this bike i have nukeproof scout 2019 model which seems like jack of all trades bike. I do alot of cycling around the country side. Some green & blue trails every now and then would this bike be suitable for that? Or it to hardcore...

Hardcore hardtails are brilliant, I've got a Commencal Meta Am 29er, similar geo to the P7, great bike 👍🏾

Great video mate, I also always wanted a P7, I also always wanted a crush, I’m pleased with the crush that I went with, although I’m left with still wanting a P7 haha, if I had the money, i would get one anyway 🤣 we will have to swap bikes for a trail or two to relieve my itch 😀 I do love the colour of your P7.

Looking forward to more hardtail rides, as a side note, I’m not doing Helvellyn on it 🤣
