This looks great! My family usually prefers to play a bunch of filler-type games on game night rather than one long game. So, a lot of my games are shorter and lighter. That little HMS Beagle is worth it alone. And yes, I would read the booklet about the animals 😊. Nice looking game. Thank you for the review.

Played it at AIRECON ‘23. It’s absolutely brilliant for a 30 minute family game. Gorgeous artwork, simple rules, enough agency by using the visitor tokens. And easy to understand your objective. A truly fantastic new game to welcome people to the hobby!

This game is really fun! I tried it at Essen. I can't wait to play it more!

I don't see this one available yet but will definitely pick it up. Sorry We're French are on my radar after Galileo Project!

Looks great, but that box is WAY too big for a filler. Shrink everything a bit and it’d be better.

Wow. This is seriously "Darwin's Journey" warm-up game. Not only does this game has Darwin in name but the title also alludes to traveling, the whole 4x4 grid of animals where you complete rows and columns is like identical in both games, only in DJ it's just one scoring mechanism in a heavy euro, both games showed up on the market roughly at the same time...

Even if only two people read the facts about the animals what does it matter? It's just a few extra pages for those who are interested, you don't have to look at them if you don't want to. It's not like they take that much space. I swear people will complain about anything these days.

This looks very very similar to Floriferous, but in a much bigger box. I don't think a collection needs both.

It looks like a nice production, but it also looks kind of boring. The player interaction seems kind of happenstance.
