Hey, thank you very much! I really don't understand why they aren't fixing this asap. On the steam forums they don't say anything about just installing the Epic Games Launcher. Why is that even a thing? I just recently lost access to my Epic Games Account, since i lost access to my E-Mail address and they didn't help with that either. Really not a fan of Epic Games in general.
*Edit* Worked like a charm. Thanks again! Just made sure to actually install the Epic Games Launcher and it installed everything i needed!

Bro, i tryed all you showed me.. if i try to install the Update in the Epic Games folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic The program run backwards and not install this.. wtf.

The .msi file is missing on my PC. I download the installer many times, thinking the file was corrupted but in EOS folder, i only have EpicOnlineServicesInstaller.exe, and the folder EpicOnlineServices is not present in any of the instalation attempts.

I do not have the Epic launcher installed and everything worked fine for me out of the gate. I do have an Epic account but haven't had that app on my PC in at least a year. I've just did a clean install of Windows recently as well. Not sure if that had any impact on me not receiving this error. It did do some sort of check in with the Epic services before doing the pre shader cache but I haven't had any issues beyond that.

The problem is its not connecting. Just reinstalled everything. Only way for me to actually play it is by deleting the eos dll but with that i cant play online even tho its running via steam and im not getting achievements...

You'd think the EOS application would have a built in updater that automatically updates when online.

my game just says it's connecting to epic but never does and it never times out. two hours still running circle. How to I turn off connect to epic in the ini because that's the only way to fix this but you can't without manually editing an ini and I can't figure it out.
