I get halfway through the scene and realise they didn't go to their bedroom, meaning I have to go back and check if the other characters who were there left, and if they didn't I just read the rest hoping that the scene is only focusing on the mcs pov which is why it didn't mention anyone leaving.

The only time I read a sex scene was when I was reading a fanfiction and my eyes skipped over the content warning.
I was like 14.
It was not fun :')

It was worse when i was 10 i i bought i book and I DIDN’T KNOW IT HAD A SEX SCENE and the english teacher took each for each kid out so she could see how they improved so when it was my turn i had to read a page of my book and it was a sex scene😭😭😭 she was like 85😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was reading a low fantasy series and in the final book there was a very explicit and detailed sex scene. I can handle a little bit of sexy time, but that scene came out of nowhere and i did not like it. There was no indication or lead up. It just happened. I wanted to read a nice fantasy adventure, not erotica
