This is BC Rich going back to their roots. They began as a boutique brand. I have a 1980 BC Rich Eagle deluxe bass. The tone and craftsmanship is outstanding.

Personally I love BC Rich, ever since the first moment I saw the Warlock design i fell in love. Now i don't now if $1600 love them, but considering that they just decked them out with the best of the best, if i had the money i'd definitely consider the investment

If you've spent any significant amount of time running CAD/CAM software, determining machining process, tooling, tool pathing with all the extremely important technical data and entry and exit for each cut for each tool, figured out fixturing/work holding, inspection protocols and critical dimensions...

There may be some simple CNC work out there, but if you really know what it's about, you know it takes a lot of craftsmanship and even more knowledge to be really good at it. I learned how to use about two dozen hand tools in three months, and it took me four years to really know what the hell I was doing with a CNC. And in ten years I was running the shop floor and manufacturing process engineering (programming is a part of this department). So when I hear cracks from someone who, obviously, doesn't know anything about what a CNC is, what it does, what it doesn't do, and how to make it do anything other than pile up into itself and become a quarter million dollar boat anchor, and hear cracks about no CNC here this is real craftsmanship...

Eastman guitars are truly bang for buck man. I spent a good chunk of my trip to Tokyo back in 2018 looking for a great second-hand Gibson 335. Ended up ordering an Eastman T486 off the strength of auditioning one in Rudy’s Music in NYC. Now I own 3 Eastmans 🤘if the T486, T386 and AR371CE2 I own are any indicators of quality, the SB series is probably rock and roll dynamite.
