Alice falls down a rabbit hole and finds herself in Wonderland, a fantasy land of strange characters and ideas. This made-for-TV movie adaptation of Lewis Carol's fantasy classic features a stellar cast including Whoopi Goldberg, Ben Kingsley, Miranda Richardson, Christopher Lloyd, Pete Postlethwaite, Martin Short, Gene Wilder, Robbie Coltraine and many more.

I remember watching this movie a lot as a kid. I don't recall if we had recorded it on VHS from the TV or perhaps had it on DVD. Either way. I remember being mesmerized, and the storm clouds gave me nightmares as a kid.

Only now do I realize the lesson behind the movie. Each character is trying to help Alice gain the confidence to preform Infront of her parents guests, which is quite sweet, I think. And I'm able to appreciate how much effort all those costumes and puppets must have been. And for the many older ones in this film. I didn't realize how many older people they had in this film until now. I must have been exhausting, but it looks like they may of had fun.

Thank you for restoring it, I enjoyed watching it again.

Legitimately just got goosebumps. I watched this movie near-obsessively as a child (nearly ran the vhs tape to death) and I never thought I'd see it this crisp and clear. My god, thank you!

I loved this movie as a kid. I still remember my mother coming to my room and telling me she read today Hallmarck Channel was airing a new Alice in Wonderland adaptation. I didn't pay much attention to the news, but that night I watched it, and I loved it. I ended up recording it on VHS and re-watching it many times later.

I remember getting this as one of those free DVDs newspapers used to sometimes give out.. me and my brother rewatched it to death, but so much of it I'm only understanding and appreciating now. It's a masterpiece, and thank you for uploading it in magnificent quality ❤

10:26 I always wondered as a kid how this scene showing Alice's feet was ever done, as it felt so other-worldly to me. Nowadays, I realise that it was a combination of CGI and physical movement by Tina Majorino

My grandma recorded this on a VHS tape when it played on TV and cut off the recording before every start of adverts. That VHS was lost long ago to my knowledge and I honestly had thought this to be an absolute fever dream until today where I suddenly remembered Woopie Goldberg was the cheshire cat! So I looked up her IMDB and scrolled way down till i saw this movie. I typed in where to watch it for free on google and this showed up. I couldn't be happier~ I was convinced for years it was a fever dream but now I can relive my childhood in 4k! Thank you for not letting this be lost media like so many old things from my childhood ;w; (Specifically an old cartoon that had been on youtube but since been taken down :<)

oh i remember watching this with my familiy, I cant remember much about it until now, it took why too long to find it, something made me want to watch this again roughly a decade more or less later, so odd! thank you for the high quality remaster, its wonderful! you know I think this, the 2010 and alice through the looking glass, all them 3 are the decent remakes of the finest unbeatable 1952 original!
