Wonderful content, Brent. Your podcasts and videos have helped me stay sharp at home while I wait for schools/venues to open back up! Well edited, effective and concise. Keep the content coming, homie!

You get top marks from me for this lesson. This is a really wonderful tune to play and improvise on, to learn II-V progressions, and secondary dominants etc. However regarding your discussion of minor II-Vs being "more tricky" because of choices between melodic, harmonic and relative minor scales---- this caused me a lot of struggle and pain for many years. But then I stopped thinking about these scales. Now I think only of the notes and the repeating neck patterns of the M7b5 of each key. Learning these was like a log jam breaking and freeing up my mind. No more "tricks" to think about--- just music.

Even though I play the sax, I still find this lesson to be very helpful. If you had available a PDF of the lesson that would help. Also, transcribe into other keys for Bflat and Eflat sax. thanks for your clarity and your diving directly into some great tunes.

Excellent teaching approach. Is there a link to the chord and harmony sheet analysis to this song, No Greater Love, which I can print? Thank you.
