u have to connect upper and lower front control arm unless the spring will push the lower one of of the wheel hub

How did you get the car to shift so smoothly? I’m working on a similar project and my current challenge is trying to add a stepper mechanism to shift gears, which would allow me to add a clutch to shift gears easier. You seem to have bypassed the need for a clutch in this design and I’m very furious as to how. Is it because of the model being lightweight? Almost symmetrical build means center of mass is pretty much dead center, does that make it easier to switch?
