RaTKiN - Final Fantasy VII RemastereD - Prelude (Original music by Nobuo Uematsu)
Показать описание
Original music composed by Nobuo Uematsu. In no way do I claim rights to this composition, nor do I use it commercially, or in any way that would amount to copyright infringement. My respect for Uematsu-sensei and the Final Fantasy games is very deep indeed.
Okay, so what's the story behind this?
Initially I just wanted to have some high quality orchestral versions of Nobuo Uematsu's epic Final Fantasy VII soundtrack for myself, so I decided to remake it. I also do film scoring and other audio work for film, so I felt that putting all these little blocks of Uematsu's outstanding work together again on my own might benefit my understanding of composition and arranging as well. It certainly did! In the end, I thought these tracks might actually be cool for other Final Fantasy fans to hear as well, hence the decision to share this here.
What is my input here?
I decided to stay as true as possible to the original work, therefore I take no credit for the composition whatsoever, as it is 100% Uematsu's. Most of the time, I also arranged it exactly the way it was intended by Uematsu (I had to guess and use my own judgment here and there though). The only thing I take credit for, is the productional part of the tracks (mixing and mastering, making it sound guuuuuuuud).
For those who intend to work with me on film projects:
Consider these Final Fantasy VII tracks as examples of what is possible from a productional point of view. If you would like to hear more of my own original compositions, please do not refer to this video series and contact me directly.
Enjoy! Final Fantasy Forever! :)
