Leopard 1 is a medium versatile and speedy tank.
With proper support for the flanks by infantrymen it is deadly combination.

A fine tank and there haven't been that many tank vs. tank encounters so against infantry this is still very capable.

It's like a Consumer Reports review of a tank. Goes fast even in reverse, good rate of fire, suffers a bit from the cold, engine easy to replace, roomy inside, and if the enemy hits your ammo, no turret tossing.

- A danish delievered Leopard 1 A5 ( look at time 00:50, upper site picture = yellow strips attached saying "SKUD GÅET"=shoots gone) I am VERY PLEASED we are able to help/support Ukraine defend it`s land, and to the guys in the tanks : Give them h... guys - - - Education of Ukrainian Leopard personel is still ongoing, - more Leopards 1 A5 is still being "Refurbish`d" and - - - F-16 WILL COME SOONE.

It isn't meant to go 1-1 against modern MBTs. The skill of the crew is the main thing.

In the latest versions, Leopard 1 are not that far behind Leopard 2 except for firing range and armour. At short ranges, the difference is not as noticeable.
