If you accidentally shoot and kill someone, that's involuntary manslaughter. Alec obviously didn't take the 2 seconds needed to double-check the gun, that's negligent homicide. You don't get special treatment just because you're making a movie.

If you ever have to or going to handle a firearm, be sure you went through a firearms education class. Never rely your safety and everyone elses safety in someone elses hands when youre the one handling a firearm.

With that, I believe Mr. Baldwin is responsible. If he was properly educated, when he was handed the firearm, he wouldve cleared and safed the firearm. Not just say "ohh i thought..."
