Classification and Regression Trees (CART) used in the ESCAP LNOB Methodology

Показать описание
The video “Classification and Regression Trees (CART) used in the ESCAP LNOB Methodology” explains step by step how we build a classification and regression tree to identify the furthest behind in access to basic opportunities and services. Using the simplified, theoretical example of Asha’s swimming habits, it shows how the algorithm sorts through available data to group observations. Translated into access to basic services linked to SDG indicators, the algorithm groups households or individuals into groups with lower or higher access. This is the third video in a series describing the ESCAP LNOB methodology, used in trainings and for outreach purposes.
