A colony of wasps decided to start building a nest on my front porch light. The wasps were as long as my middle finger and as thick as my thumb! I could not leave my house to take trash out. Thankfully the tree service guys had a big can of bug spray and a huge shop-vac so they dealt with them quickly. Then they were nice enough to change the light bulb for me. A short horror story with a happy ending. I thought you could appreciate the terror of those horrid critters. Oh and about dinner in the heat? I eat a lot of sandwiches.
