The students were given a challenge - to create a short reportage for MGIStv using the school iPads during the Exhibition Day in four hours from start to finish including shooting, anchoring and editing. The students met the challenge and completed the task.

About MGIS tv:
Students wanted to create a worldwide dissemination platform for their work. They launched their online newscast channel for the school community which they called MGIS TV Newscast and have been creating content using appropriate authoring tools, notably the iPad, Final Cut Pro, iMovie etc. Launching MGIStv was a class project in Grade 8 done in 2013-2014 with Lissa Chazot, since this project gives a voice to students and is student led by the same batch of students, new MGIStv news episodes continue to be available for viewing.
