Oh man, I’m almost 16 years old and I came here because, COVID and all, I’ve never been to a school dance before. I’m so nervous about being able to dance alright, so I wanted to find some dance moves.
In doing so, I think I’ve found a certain love for 50s dancing!!

When I was in high school a few years ago (68 to be exact) some of the churches had dances on the weekends for us teens. My neighbor (Loretta by name) was as pretty as was possible and was an outstanding dancer. (Later on she danced at Radio City in New York). She did the choreography and was my instructor. At the dances they always held a jitterbug contest (first prize was usually $5). Because of Loretta, we won so much that eventually we could dance but not be in competition. When I watch these great dancers I am in high school again and competing.

Every dancer is as happy as can be, and it rubs off on me! My smile is huge as i watch this!! this is a video i'll keep on my list to watch when i feel down !!

Thank you Bubby for all the times you told me the stories of you and Zadie doing this wonderful dance together now I can't watch stuff like this without a smile on my face. I can only hope I fall in love in someone who could dance as lively as this.

Omg!!! I had the biggest smile on my face watching this!! All of them did an amazing job!! I was bobbing along with the music and had to share it with my daughters ❤

Watching this brought back memories of the 90's. when I used to hip hop dance. There is so much joy amongst the dancers. If those feelings of joy, created through dance, could be encapsulated and dispensed to every human on the planet, man we truly would have that "WONDERFUL WORLD, " as Louis Armstrong envisioned.

Loved the first couple and her first twist was SO WIDE and unexpected....WOW. You better have an outstanding bass player for this and that's what we hear here!
