Very good advice. Suffering is hard, but the inability to endure and live with it is much worse (which is the depressive state).

This is very comforting. Thank you, Fr. Jennings. I needed to hear this especially I'm struggling with my health problem. Praise and glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ, now and forever, amen. Our Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for us. Amen. 🙏

As always, your meditations are blessings to us. The terrorists though have a differing code, but their evil isn't a lack of caring. They are grossly misled and manipulated. They think they do it for God, not dissimilar to the norse belief of the greatest reward comes to those who die in the battlefield. We Christians are/could easily be misled in the same vein, since there's a thin line that exists between suffering and dying for any other reason but God's glory

I love your closing prayer - you will be quoted in my own thanksgiving because I couldn't think of a better way to say 'thank you' to God. And thank you too for the sublime beauty of your words. 🌹

Wonderful and wise. Fortitude can be learnt, and certainly not being to self centred can help. But this does encapsulate everything, thank you.

This was a very good talk . . . right up to the point where, with mouth agape, I heard you describe President Zelenky in the same breath as Winston Churchill as "another great leader." Your praise for Mr. Zelensky will not age well, father. I urge you to watch Dave Rubin's recent YouTube interview with Tulsi Gabbard entitled "The Truth About President Zelensky" and to read more widely.
