Boondocking and Off Roading in Montana | Full-time RV Family | Ep. 47

This week we headed up into the mountains north of Butte, Montana to go boondocking with some friends for the weekend. These friends also happen to have RZR Side by Side ATV's, so not only did we have a beautiful free place to stay for the weekend, we also got to fly around the nearby hills and valleys at incredible speeds! It was also our first time trying out our new Harbor Freight Predator 3500 generator and we ran into some issues with it not wanting to run our A/C, but luckily there was a river nearby that we could cool off in.

All in all, our first weekend of backcountry boondocking was a big success with a couple little hiccups. We will definitely start seeking out more beautiful, remote areas to camp for a couple nights (for free!) - we'll just wait until it's a little bit cooler before we do it again. The area definitely made for some gorgeous drone footage regardless of the heat though!

The auto museum had over160 old cars from 1880s to 1970s so cool!!!. They had a frontier / Pioneer museum and 3 other museums and the grant khors ranch is a mile away (approx.) . We paid a sum total of $54.00 for our family of five ( four adults and one child). For all 5 of the museums...a great price!!! 😁

Brian, get a Micro Air Easy Start, and your generator will work fine. Fare Unbound just did a good video and have a discount coupon. I have had one on our main A/C since March 2017, just put one my front A/C. Wandering Wagner also have video and discount coupon. My wife and I will start full time RVing next year. We can't wait to go see kids along for the ride for us though. Ours graduates high school this year.
