This is my favorite since the first two. John is definitely the stand out character for me personally. The music is phenomenal. Amanda was never a character that I really liked but she was really good in this one.

Totally agree about Amanda’s character arc and how it paves the way for her behaviour in 2/3, and that green hue took me right back to 00s

The music was absolutely amazing, especially the trap music. How it slows down at the last seconds was terrifying. The whole atmosphere made it look like a classic saw movie

I liked it, but I couldn't get passed Shawny Smiths appearance. I kept staring at her face. I knew it was her, but it didn't look like her, and it was such a departure from all the other movies. I liked following people around as they figure out the puzzles and try to disarm the traps. This movie was kind of weak when it came to that. I'm glad so many people liked it. I did get a kick out of the intestine gag. It made me think of that scene from, "Machete". This is my favorite horror series so maybe I expected a lot more from it. Certainly not my favorite, but it's definitely in my top 9 Saw movies. I don't acknowledge "Spiral'.

I think 2 is my favorite and 3 hits the closest to home, but X might be my favorite Amanda movie. Her character was fantastic in this one.

It was such an odd sensation 'rooting' for John Kramer. Like... There were no good people in this movie. They were all progressively worse than the person standing to their right lol how in the hell was I excited to see the main chick get what was coming to her when she's standing next to Jigsaw? LOL I was trying to describe this movie to some coworkers and it was basically "if you're into seeing horrible people be tortured, but like a healthy dose of non torture scenes with your dismemberments - Saw X is for you!" 😅

I like every other franchise James Wan has made that more than the Saw franchise, body horror isn't scary to me it's unnecessary

I liked the movie, but found everything predictable ( because I understand this show and as I was watching, they put the peices together the they should have)... but I actually think the first 5 are all better, Hoffman may not be loveable like John or even Gordon but he was certainly a powerful character.
We all knew John and Amanda couldn't die in the movie, just felt a little pointless.
Make a movie for Gordon... that's there only good option and I have 0 idea why they wouldn't bring him for this installment, we have very little of a character that is still interesting
